Kasthuri womens hostel was started in the year 2002 by Mrs.Ramana and Mrs.Jamuna The inspiration from their mother Late Mrs.Kasthuri enabled them to start this venture to help working women. Mrs.Kasthuri hailed from a normal middle class family who earned a living by doing pickle business.She also individually started a restuarant in ECR road. Mrs.Kasthuri wanted to help working women by providing them safe place to live away from home. Mrs.Ramana and Mrs.Jamuna inspired by their mother started this womens hostel in their mothers name and are successfully carrying out the dreams of their mother. Currently the Hostel is managed by its proprietrix Mrs. Durga Devi.
