The man, whose true calling in life, was itself ‘Life and illuminating lives’. A simple man with big dreams, who looked at the bigger picture of providing vision for all at an affordable cost, irrespective of class or creed, was none other than Dr. A. Govindarajan. A dream, which he fondly nurtured, became a reality when he founded ‘Dr. A. GOVINDARAJAN EYE HOSPITALS’ at Tiruchirapalli in 1969 as a 7 bedded hospital housed in a modest building of 2300 sq.ft..
